Eva Arsenault, 79, of Oasis, Dieppe, passed away on Sunday, January 7th, 2018 at her residence. Born in Fox Creek, NB, she was the daughter of the late Edouard and the late Olive (née: Doiron) LeBlanc. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Arsenault worked at l’Assomption. She enjoyed colouring, puzzles, crafts, needlepoint and bingo. She was a member of Saint-Anselme parish. She is survived by four daughters: Denise (Richard) Leger of Memramcook, Janice (Gerald) Gauvin of Dieppe, Stella (Ronnie) Melanson of Saint-Andre-LeBlanc and Angela (Richard) McGraw of Dieppe; two sons: Clovis (Linda Vegelan) of Moncton and Eddy (Shelly Mockler) of Dieppe; one sister, Francine (Charlie) Bourque of Haverhill, Mass; five grandchildren: Marc, Jacynte, Charline, Robin and Geneva; two great grandsons: Kory and Vaughn; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Normand in 2016; one daughter, Anne-Marie; one grandson, Gabriel; two sisters: Corinne and Lorraine and also by one brother, Clovis. Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm ONLY. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Saint-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe on Wednesday, January 10th, 2018 at 11 am. Interment in Saint-Anselme Parish Cemetery, Dieppe. Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
