Arthur Robichaud, 73, of Moncton, passed away on Monday, April 2nd, 2018, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton. Born in Toronto, ON, he was the son of the late René and the late Marguerite (née: Comeau) Robichaud. Prior to retirement, Arthur worked for the Department of Natural Resources in Saint-Louis-de-Kent. He was a member of the Club d’Âge d’Or de Notre-Dame de Grâce and Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption parish, at which he served communion. He is survived by one daughter, Carole (Daniel) Ouellette of Cocagne; one granddaughter, Ashley; two sisters: Janice (Adélyre) Goguen of Dieppe and Anita (Danny) Goulden of Kingston, ON; one brother, Maurice Robichaud (Pat Galbraith) of Fredericton; one step-daughter, Carol-Ann (André) Comeau of Dieppe; two step-sons: Robert of Moncton and Rhéal of Fredericton; five step-grandchildren: Christopher, Nicholas, Nikita, Jordan and Alisha; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Jacqueline (née: Melanson) in 2016. Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Friday from 7 to 9 pm and also on Saturday from 9:30 am until time of departure. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Cathédrale Notre-Dame de l’Assomption, Moncton, on Saturday, April 7th, 2018 at 11 am. Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe. Donations to a Moncton Food Bank would be appreciated by the family.
