Frank Chellingworth

Frank Chellingworth, aged 95, of Riverview and formerly of Ottawa, died peacefully in his sleep at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, 26 April 2018. Frank was born and raised in London, England. In 1948, shortly after the war, he moved to Canada, but England was always in his heart. With close family living there, he neatly divided his time between the two countries. Frank enjoyed a long and happy career working for the National Research Council in Ottawa until he retired in 1987. He is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years, Joan Billingham, his daughters; Anne Atkins (Jeff) and Lynne Chellingworth (Eoin McManus), step daughters; Susan Billingham and Carole Murphy (Stuart Fergusson) and his cherished grandchildren; Matthew McManus (Karen) and John McManus (Kath Jell) Kennedy, Liam and Siobhan Murphy.  Frank was predeceased by his first wife, Lorraine Chellingworth (nee Clarke), who he loved and cherished for 38 yearsHonouring Frank’s wishes, there will be no funeral service, although his family in Canada and the UK will celebrate Frank’s life, loves and interests in the coming months. Donation to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation (3600 Unit) would be appreciated by the family.
