J. "Jerry" Gerald Camille Petitpas

Jerry Petitpas, age 66, of St. Paul, passed away surrounded by his family, at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre on Monday, April 30, 2018.  In addition to his mother, Emily (Gaudet), he will be deeply missed by his wife of nearly 45 years, Janice; their two daughters, Tammy Carnahan (Trevor) of Riverview and Connie Rolfe (Jason) of Lutes Mountain; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Devin and Chloe; as well as several nieces and nephews.  Jerry was predeceased by his father, Gerald Petitpas.  Jerry was a retired machinist for CNR. After he retired, he moved out to the country and finally got a Lincoln Town Car, which he had always wanted. He loved working out in his garage, listening to country music and drinking a beer. Jerry had a wonderful sense of humour and always found something to joke about. He loved playing darts and loved the challenge of a puzzle or making things in his spare time. He was an avid NASCAR fan and you could always find him on the couch on race day.  Special thanks to the Staff of MSICU at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre, especially Stephanie, Rheal and Eric, for keeping our spirits up.  As per his request, there will be no service. There will be a visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Club d’Age d’Or in St. Paul from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated.
