Lorette LeBlanc, 76, of Foyer Saint-Thomas, Memramcook and formerly of Scoudouc, passed away on Thursday, May 10th, 2018 at her residence. Born in Memramcook, NB, she was the daughter of the late Pierre à Cail and the late Bernadette (née: LeBlanc) LeBlanc. Prior to retirement, she had worked as a cook. She was a former member of Shediac Legion, Branch # 33 Ladies Auxillary, Club d’Age d’Or and Saint-Jacques-le-Majeur Parish in Scoudouc. She is survived by her son, Marcel (Nicole) of Dieppe; Nicole’s daughter, Jasmine; four sisters: Mériza (Camille) of Dieppe, Marcella (Rolando) of Memramcook, Robertine (Omer) of Dieppe and Murielle (Leonard) of Memramcook; five brothers: Alcide of Dieppe, Alonzo (Rachel), Rodolphe (Annette), Leonce (Cecile) and Arcade (Pam), all of Memramcook; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Annette in 2008 and also by her former husband, Roger Bourque. Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe (857-1901) on Friday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and also on Saturday from 9:30 am until time of departure. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Saint-Jacques-le-Majeur Roman Catholic Church, Scoudouc on Saturday, May 12th, 2018 at 11:30 am. Interment in Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium, Dieppe. Donations to a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
