Léandre "Len" Myers, 94, of Moncton, passed away on Tuesday, October 9th, 2018 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Saint-Antoine-de-Kent, NB, he was the son of the late Thomas and the late Ida (née: Williams) Myers. Len was a founding member of the Bunkhouse Boys. He is a member of the NB Country Music Hall of Fame and Notre-Dame-de-Grâce parish. He is survived by his wife, Huberte (née: Richard); two daughters: Monique Binder of Belleville, ON and Nicole Myers (Roger Maillet) of Moncton; four sons: Mike (Diane), Robert (Ghislaine Arsenault), both of Dieppe, Joey (Sarah Doucet) of Fredericton and Vincent (Nicole Arsenault) of Halifax, NS; one sister, Dorothy "Dot" Myers of Moncton; one brother, Ernest of St-Stephen; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by six sisters: Anita, Mabel, Emma, Florence, Dora and Loretta and also by seven brothers: Clarence, Laurie, Vincent, Tony, Ronald, Léo and Gerry. Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, (857-1901) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm ONLY. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Roman Catholic Church, Moncton on Thursday, October 11th, 2018 at 11 am. Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe. Donations to the Villa Providence Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
