It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Margaret Moore on Monday, October 29, 2018 with her loving family at her side. Born in Quarryville, she was the daughter of the late Herman H. and Ruby (Jardine) Touchie. Marg loved to knit and do puzzles. She also enjoyed shopping a great deal and she loved to rhyme. However, her favorite thing to do was spend time and laugh with her family and friends. Margaret will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 73 years, Robert Moore; daughters Joan Bostick (Clifford) of Riverview N.B. and Kathy White (Brian) of Oakville ON; daughter-in-law Donna Moore (Dartmouth N.S. (Gerry Boudreau); her grandchildren Kelly Moore (Dan Negus), Jeff Moore (Michelle Hebert-Moore), Shawn Bostick (Tanya Bostick), Jillian Bostick, Brett White, Alexandra White (Brendon Rogerson); and great-grandchildren Eden Moore, Sarah Bostick and Robbie Bostick. She is also survived by her sisters Doris Atkinson, Ruth Johnston, and Mabel Goguen. Besides her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her son Gary Moore; sister Bernice Steeves; brothers Rev. John Touchie, Marshall "Buster" Touchie and Wilson Touchie; her brothers-in-law Rev. Bruce Atkinson, Lloyd Johnston, Fred Goguen and Hollis Steeves; as well as her sisters-in-law Shirley and Ruth Touchie. A funeral service will take place at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview (869-2007) on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 10:00am with Rev. Janice McLean officiating. A reception will follow the service. There will be a private family burial. Donations can be made to Trinity United Church, Greater Moncton SPCA or the Alzheimer Society.
