May Laviolette, 90, of Manoir Notre-Dame, Moncton, passed away on Saturday, December 22nd, 2018, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton. Born in St-Alexis-de-Matapédia, QC, she was the daughter of the late Adrien and the late Florence (née: Martin) Arsenault. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Laviolette was a nurse at Villa du Repos. She enjoyed playing Cards "Bridge" and was a member of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Parish. She is survived by three daughters: Monique Laviolette (Michel Cormier) and Sylvie Laviolette, both of Moncton and Chantal Laviolette (Gilles Gallant) of Dieppe; two sisters: Marguerite (Gilles) Emond of Campbellton and Monique (Dr. Richard) Comeau of Petit-Rocher; two brothers: Paul (Marie) of Repentigny, QC and Felix (Fernande) of Campbellton; four grandchildren: Jean-Michel (Janice Thériault), Jonathan (Venessa Cormier), Marie-Pier and Amélie; as well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by one sister, Marcelle and also by three brothers: Gerard, Louis and Maurice. A Celebration of her Life was held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, (857-1901). Interment in Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium, Dieppe. Donations to the CHU-Dumont Foundation "Oncology or Cardiology" would be appreciated by the family.
